  　　说实话对于林语堂大师的这篇不知算小说式传记还是传记式小说的东东我深感遗憾。至于还是给了“还行”这样的评价，本人觉得作为一代文豪语言表述遣词用句确实很给力，但全书对武则天执政期间优秀政绩只字不提，通篇尽是大量尽其所能的夸大武则天的过失之处。

  　　书中所述之事确也皆是正史所记载，但是林大师用其强烈的个人主义措辞将武则天的狠毒荒淫大书特书，主观臆断昭然若揭。

  这是时代和性别的局限性。林大师虽是新文化新思潮新时代中之人，但根深蒂固的性别偏见在此书中表现得那真是淋漓尽致。

  　　有一个小细节不知大家可否注意到。对于书中涉及到的太平公主 韦皇后 上官婉儿等当时叱咤一时的巾帼不让须眉的女性虽一笔带过却极尽鄙夷嘲讽之能事，无不将其视为乱政切可笑的闹剧。神龙政变太平公主也有参与，书中对此只字未提。林语堂大师阿，你就是如此的将历史作为自己发泄私心的工具吗？

  　　对于一代名臣狄仁杰，作者凭一己之私将其所作为描述为始终暗藏扳倒武皇之心只是静待时机。实在过于武断过于主观。国老敬重武皇治国之才愿为其效忠，而他最终关心的仍天下黎明苍生，所以最后尽其之历匡复唐室，也是一大局为重，在他心里如此才能稳定时局造福百姓。当然作为一代儒臣，终于李唐也是他不可忽视的行为准则。

  　　我从小对武则天这个中国历史上独一无二的女皇帝很是感兴趣。关于她的文学影视作品也略看一些。我认为武则天无非就是一个聪明的又个性十足的女性。她对权力孜孜不倦的求索来源于她所经历之现实让她明白没有权力在这个险象环生的皇宫中随时可能丧命。而当她手中的权利愈发强大，她开始参与朝政，就像现代社会一个天赋凛然的女政治家，我只是爱政治。

  　　而又具有足够的反叛超越之心态。她并非把政治当做自己的游乐场和满足权欲的工具（林语堂此书中便是如此在塑造），她有野心也报复想要实现就必须当皇帝，她算是一个固执的人。她确实想要挑战传统，想要超越一切她觉得并非是错误而亘古以来又一直被人们视为不该的各种制度。我想她的私心也有。她想要通过称帝来证明女人可以当皇帝，所以她在这个过程中任用酷吏铲除异己，这为她背上了千古骂名。

  　　确实，如果她仅仅是一个聪明的女人，她完全可以像清朝时候的孝庄太后那样，扶持自己的儿子做一个好皇帝。可她是武则天，她不但聪明并且叛逆。她就是要用自己的智慧和胆识让不可一世的男权社会臣服在她的石榴裙下，她就是注定要做这个至尊的红颜君主。

  　　从掖庭宫里望眼欲穿的等待里，感业寺中只与青灯古佛为伴的寂寥生活里，她的青春被那个视女人为衣服或是祸水的时代消耗着，在只给了女性极不公正的卑微地位的男权社会里磨损着，她不愿做这个时代的牺牲品，不愿自己在无望的空待中了此残生，于是她运用了自己聪颖的天赋动员了毕生的忍耐和智慧成就了中国封建社会空前绝后的女性政权。可嘉可叹。作为女人读到林语堂大师这篇可笑的文字也真是可悲可感啊。
