看了《李宗仁回忆录》,也看了《天下第一谤书:李宗仁回忆录批判》

相对而言,《李宗仁回忆录》用词比较中肯,比较努力用客户的词句来叙述,全书体系也比较严谨,知识他和蒋介石的恩怨这一部分确实不好说,但总体上他对蒋介石还是有褒有贬,贬多于褒。而《天下第一谤书:李宗仁回忆录批判》使用了太多的倾向性词语,比如标题就是“口是心非、老奸巨猾”,而且着墨重点也是在于1945年后国共内战的事情,这一事情十分复杂,谁对谁飞难以分说。但是1945年之前的李宗仁,我认为正面的比负面要多。论能力:
政治能力:他善于团结下属,比如白、黄两人原本不是他的体系,甚至是萍水相逢,而后能够在一起20年之久,还合力统一广西,实属不易。反观广东那边,名将如云:陈炯明、李济深、陈济棠、陈铭枢、张发奎、薛岳、蒋光鼐、叶挺、邓演达、邓龙光……,个个能征善战,但是没人能够统一广东,都先后被老将利用,自相残杀,最终又先后被老将各个击破。回忆录中,李宗仁肯定桂军的战力,也没有否认四军在北伐中的战力。广西兵作战能力在中国的近代史上也是有名的,据说是最难对付的部队。李说桂军和四军是北伐中出力最多的,这个说法该没错。但是第四军出的名将实在太多啦,包括后来的林彪。这个事桂军所不能比的。
权术:广西历来是个贫苦的地方,工商业不发达,读书人也少,因此广西人相对朴实。即使现在的广西人,总体来讲是蛮朴实的。而浙江人就不一样,不管以前和现在,都是很精明的一个群体。李出自广西农民家庭,蒋出浙江富商家庭。从背景上粗略的看,李在权术方面不能说没有,但是跟蒋应该是没法比。
作战指挥:李宗仁在这方面算是中规中矩,没见什么神来之笔,很多时候是因为他的兵比较勇敢。白崇禧在表现更加出彩,但也仅限于军阀战争期间,抗战中鲜有什么表现,所指挥的淞沪会战也一般而已。
