    对于不太了解DC宇宙的人来说有点理解门槛,前半部分好多地方一头雾水,得倒回去重看。蝙蝠侠和小丑太基了,小丑最后的角色设计图里直接写“obsession+love affair with Batman”。。对于新小丑的刻画感觉就苍白了点。

    2021.7.22读完《礼拜二午睡时刻》。

    从《百年孤独》、《霍乱时期的爱情》到《活着为了讲述》,在他的魔幻现实主义中翻滚,走进一个作家神奇真实的内心世界,揭开半遮半掩的面纱,原来这就是马尔克斯。

    《礼拜二午睡时刻》分为八篇短篇小说,包括《礼拜二午睡时刻》、《平常的一天》、《咱们镇上没有小偷》、《巴尔塔萨午后奇遇》、《蒙铁尔的寡妇》、《周六后的一天》、《纸做的玫瑰花》、《格兰德大妈的葬礼》,现在依次来看。

    在《礼拜二午睡时刻》中,一位身材矮小孱弱的女人带着她12岁的女儿来找神父,借用一下公墓的钥匙去看卡洛斯·森特诺的墓,她是他的母亲。上礼拜一凌晨三点,寡妇雷薇卡太太听见外面声音,拿着一支手枪打死了一个男人,一个小偷。一个女人,在所有人都痛恨这个小偷的时候,站出来,告诉别人,“我是他母亲”,这句话凝聚了作为一位母亲对孩子最后的安慰。她和女儿在午睡时刻安静地过来,她与神父安静地对话,安静中透露着巨大的悲痛,就如当我们受伤时在众人面前紧紧忍住回到家抱头痛哭。本该是休息时间,外面出现了看热闹的人,是抱着嘲笑、讽刺还是好奇的态度?他们不知其意,而这热闹的声音与属于午睡时刻的安静形成对比,更是与母亲内心形成对比。“我们这样很好。”什么时候我们会说出这句话?生离死别、生病、失恋、被抛弃、孤独的时候,当别人知道你的事情问候你的时候,一句“很好”“没事儿”看似是一种安慰,没有过多的话语,因为怕一说出来悲伤逆流成河,眼泪涌出。最简单的话,勾勒出沉重地悲伤,无形甚有形。

    在《平常的一天》中,牙医堂奥雷略·埃斯科瓦尔拒绝给镇长拔牙,哪怕毙了他。最后在给他拔牙的时候,他不再痛恨镇长,因为对于镇长痛苦的亲眼见证似乎弥补了牙医对镇长曾经手刃20条生命的恨意。在镇长离开时,他向牙医行了军礼,这是他向牙医的敬畏所给予的尊重,不因他杀人而见死不救,而牙医因为一时的放下也是对自己的救赎。

    《咱们镇上没有小偷》标题就是一个讽刺。主人公达马索告诉怀孕的妻子安娜偷了三个台球,结果事情发酵所有人都在议论这件事,但又坚信“咱们镇上没有小偷。全镇的人谁都认识谁。”没有台球,台球厅被迫关门,达马索告考虑去别的镇转手台球赚钱。在他们看电影的时候,一个外乡人被定罪。然而和他在一起的舞女作证黑人和格洛丽娅那晚在一起,不是偷台球的人,但所有人都认定黑人是小偷,并即将押走他。达马索因为给黑人带来的愧疚感打算自首,结果在将台球送到到台球厅的时候遇到堂罗克。堂罗克认定达马索偷了台球以及二百比索,而达马索认定没有二百达马索。“倒不光因为你是个小偷,更因为你是个笨蛋。”或许二百比索是堂罗克偷的,他打算一起嫁祸给达马索。那些坚信镇上没有小偷的村民,如今被两个小偷蒙在鼓里,一个小偷被另一个小偷欺骗,真是可笑,悲伤的玩笑。

    在《巴尔塔萨午后奇遇》中,巴尔塔萨受何塞·蒙铁尔的儿子佩佩所托,扎了一个漂亮的鸟笼,拒绝了奥克塔维奥·希拉尔多大夫渴望送鸟笼给妻子的要求。当巴尔塔萨要求何塞·蒙铁尔兑现六十比索的诺言,却被他以和孩子签订合同为借口否认这件事。而巴尔塔萨将鸟笼送给佩佩,分文不取,转头就和别人吹嘘自己收了六十比索,立志扎一百万个笼子挣钱气死有钱人。俗不知这不过是他的一片痴心妄想,也是他嫉妒、爱面子的种种迹象。结果他还把手表留下作为做笼子的抵押,赔了夫人又折兵,完全是为了作祟的虚荣心。于他来说,利用善举换来一片掌声,何乐而不为,世间为名为利的人多了去了,不多他一个罢了。

    在《蒙铁尔的寡妇》中,堂何塞·蒙铁尔死了,所有人都开心,他的儿子女儿都没有回来。何塞·蒙铁尔曾经和镇长策划一场大屠杀,主要赶走富人,收买富人的土地和牲口,但他的凶狠让所有人都隐忍、痛恨。在他死去,所有人都开始报复他们家,抢夺所有的物品导致寡妇破产。她的孩子也承认因为怕被杀不敢回家,只有忠心耿耿的卡米查埃尔在她身边安慰她。可寡妇在这些人的无情伤害中即将踏上死亡道路。

    在《周六后的一天》中,神父安东尼奥·伊萨贝尔将自己看到的三只死鸟和说自己曾经亲眼看到魔鬼联系起来,是良知还是意识的觉醒?所有人都习惯了成批的死鸟,只有神父怜悯着这群生物。当他再一次看到奄奄一息的小鸟时,他希望雷薇卡太太给它一点水,然后它就可以活下去。“对主来说,动物的生命和人的生命同样值得爱惜。”可是雷薇卡太太直接掐住小鸟扔到地上,小鸟死了,人心也死了。越来越多的鸟死去,越来越多的人漠视,而神父突然意识到他是一个被上帝选中的使者,带着唤醒人类良知、传播善意的使命,可这一次他竟然也随着人们麻木了这么久,突然呼唤出“流浪的犹太人”。就如那个因嘲弄耶稣的犹太人一直以流浪的形式接受上帝的惩罚,难道这些对生命无动于衷的人们是如犹太人般还是他们犯下大错被迫接受上帝的惩罚?神父要为这些可怜的小鸟布道赎罪,迎接上帝的到来、驱逐流浪的犹太人。从他曾经在讲坛上看到魔鬼再也不去望弥撒后,如今他重新被感悟到上帝的使命,唤醒了对主纯真的爱戴。在他布道的时候,从只有一个车站临时来教堂的年轻人聆听到紧接着镇上的村民全部匍匐在他身后,一起迎接信仰的到来。

    在《纸做的玫瑰花》中,米娜因为袖子没干不得不穿上无袖长衫,裸露双肩安赫尔神父不会让她领圣餐的。当瞎眼太太祖母随口问她一句情况,她却责怪祖母让她错过了圣餐。然而祖母早就发现了米娜将曾经熬夜偷偷写的信扔进了厕所,只因为那个米娜所喜爱的男孩离开了她。祖母认为是米娜的原因错过了圣餐,而米娜还在以谎言欺骗所有人以及残疾的老人,她变成了一个恶人,根本不配得到上帝的庇佑。

    在《格兰德大妈的葬礼》中,这不仅是一种讽刺,也是作者所玩得一手妙计。格兰德大妈在位时,利用自己的能力和权势让家族乱伦形成恶性的血缘关系,掌控整个马孔多,独揽大权。她秘密向拥护者发放武器,救助牺牲者,获得了极高的荣誉。她至死都没有结婚。临终之前她还要防着别人偷她的财产,在细数她的财产清单中咽气,好似死不瞑目。所有的至高权位者全部来参加她的葬礼,国家元首、各部长等各地的人。九个侄子为她守灵,拼命的哭丧。所有人都在为她哀悼,多么盛大的葬礼啊。所有人都沉浸在赞扬格兰德大妈的英勇事迹中,搜肠刮肚奉承着这个死去的女人,却差点忘记了还没处理她的尸体。然而他们是真正展现自己对老太太崇高的敬意吗?不,所有权位者都在等她的葬礼的一天等了很久,只有她死去,他们才能瓜分她的权力、财产。在她遗体抬出来后,他们倾巢挖地基分家。而人们可以随心所欲地在老太太领地里搭帐篷因为有权阻止他们的女人早已死去。

    关于作者的妙计,在《蒙铁尔的寡妇》中出现的仆人格兰德大妈如今却成为《格兰德大妈的葬礼》的主人公;而在《周六后的一天》中,为小鸟布道的神父安东尼奥·伊萨贝尔成为《格兰德大妈的葬礼》中为大妈处理临终前的灵魂事务的同名神父;在《礼拜二午睡时刻》中,杀死男人的那把枪是来自于奥雷里亚诺·布恩迪亚上校的,同时这个人物是在《周六后的一天》中出现的雷薇卡太太的表兄奥雷里亚诺·布恩迪亚上校,也是格兰德大妈在战争中阻击过的同样的上校;在《礼拜二午睡时刻》出现的雷薇卡太太也在《周六后的一天》出现过;在《蒙铁尔的寡妇》中死去的堂何塞·蒙铁尔和《巴尔塔萨午后奇遇》里拜托巴尔塔萨扎鸟笼的佩佩的父亲何塞·蒙铁尔也是同名……

    这本短篇小说的人物相互连接,真的是有趣,看似不易发现,毕竟国外人名不好记住,但最后一部的主人公格兰德大妈和寡妇的仆人的名字竟然是同一人,太让人记忆深刻。看似有点像卡尔维诺在《奥维德与宇宙亲近性》中提到的,“奥维德的做法让我们对世界获得一个真实且连贯的印象,在这个世界中,那些经常被孤立思考的事件彼此交互作用。”至少有那么一点点相似的感觉吧,看似不同的故事在悄悄地连接在一起,就像如今的世界,每一个人与看得见看不见的人有些千丝万缕的关系。

    aphorism:

    Speeches that string together a list of aphorisms betray a lack of creativity.

    alchemy:

    a method of miraculous change of one thing into another

    Through some incredible alchemy, the ugly frog was changed into a handsome prince.

    awry:

    twisted toward one side

    With her clothing awry, Adelaide was humiliated.

    conclave:

    a private or secret meeting; an assembly or gathering, especially on ewith authority, power, and influence

    At the annual conclave, the delegates proposed a sweeping revision of the charter.

    junket:

    a party, banquet, or outing; a trip taken by an official and paid for with public funds
