  石油之王Marc Rich的传记，并没有详细写他如何trade spot market，更多篇幅在写他各个人生阶段，以及成也萧何 败也萧何的人生经历。作为一个每天工作15小时，每周工作七天的工作狂，作为原油现货市场的发起人，作为一个可以跟各大制裁国家如鱼得水做生意的生意人，作为一个有上亿财产却17年不能踏入美国土地的亿万富翁，作为Glencore的创始人（虽然他卖掉了自己的公司股份才有今天的嘉能可，而嘉能可的history却没有他的名字），Marc Rich这样的大神人物让人心生敬佩。

  Marc对于整个大宗行业的影响，甚至对于金融乃至司法体系的影响都是深远的。嘉能可和托克都是Mark Rich Co后续的衍生。嘉能可虽然去掉了Marc作为创始人的名字并尽量淡化Marc Rich Co这个前身，但是他及MRC所带来的工作文化和企业精神永远不可能去除。嘉能可的前CEO Ivan Glasenberg和托克的创始人Claude Dauphin都是Rich boys.
